Winemaker’s Notes
The Estate grown fruit was harvested at optimal ripeness in the early hours of the morning and pressed to tank. The juice from several blacks were fermented separately in tank and kept in lees post fermentation to improve mouth feel, before careful blending to achieve balance and complexity in the final wine.
Vintage:
A classic cool climate growing season with ample rainfall and cold temperatures was followed by a dry and sunny autumn. The result being a slow, even ripening with tremendous flavour development at low sugar levels.
Colour:
Brilliant pale straw with emerald hues.
Palate:
Vibrant passionfruit and pink grapefruit flavours are carried on the palate with a creamy texture and crunchy bright acidity.
